What is a Creative Director?
A creative director, usually a former copywriter or art director, is the motivational force of the creative team, helping to open up their minds and guide them to a “big idea” given the strategy. Ultimately, the creative director is responsible for the final form of the ad. To be successful, a creative director must be open-minded, have humility, and possess strong leadership qualities.
